After a brief haiatus I am back to programming full time on CATMOUSE. The corona editor is proving to be tricky as I cannot use the Composer GUI editor on unix. Although to me that is sort of a relief as I would rather stick to text based editing anyways.
Scenes and end conditions have been added to the game as it makes its transition from .JAR to mobile (.lua), and now I am in the process of adding levels, scoring, and a level editor so that you can make your own level as you see fit.
Also a neat outcome as it seems, with the upcoming Windows 10 update I will be able to reach farther into cross-platform development including windows mobile and surface apps. I am most excited about jumping into DirectX 12.
Below is a sample of the game. It looks like the Desktop Version except for the joystick interface, which of course will be changed with further updates so it won't actually be a gameboy.
